Loony Birds of a Feather

Dennis Rodman is a loony bird and is shown here in this video is also Charles Pugh. Pugh was a Detroit newscaster and Detroit City council president, he is a gay man that has had admitted to having a "relationship" with a 17 year old boy while Pugh was his mentor. Pugh is on Rodman's right wearing the glasses.

We have an entourage of goofy Americans visiting an unstable North Korean President and badmouthing an old American citizen/hero.  Just what is wrong with this country when we allow individuals like to leave our country and badmouth our policies and worse, we let them back on our shores.

It's sadder still that any one is paying any attention to these idiots. This really shouldn't be news.

If this country didn't allow such foolishness someone, somewhere, would be certain to say something about our freedoms being unjustly curtailed.

I'd be first in line to complain about our freedoms being unjustly curtailed.

As far as Mr. Rodman and his antics, I put him in with Westboro Baptist - They're attention whores. Don't give them what they're after. Ignore them. Don't talk about them, don't complain about them, don't demand laws against them, just... ignore them.

(I know, I'm in a round about way breaking my own rule, just saying...)

I agree (wait...did I really write that?) ...and the country branded as a cauldron of oppression. I would imagine the wailing would come from several different directions as well. Mostly from those who practice oppression on a monumental scale.

Ya, but, but, its all good. He apologized.

Rodman is a jerk, plain and simple. How he got anyone to go with him is beyond me. But, we're still a semi-free country and I hope we can stay that way. No one in their right mind [ by my thinking] would go to such a country, but, they should be able to do so if they are so inclined. If for some reason they can't get back, so be it, don't call for help.

Would be nice if he stayed there . Maybe he could teach their dear leader(one-hung-lo) how to play basketball. Really tired of hearing about these freaks.

I wouldn't take part in the... whatever it is he's doing, but if I had the opportunity to go to North Korea tomorrow I'd hop on the plane in an instant.

I love traveling to places off the beaten path...

Apparently it was that nitwits birthday and rodman sang Happy Birthday to him. What an ass ! I doubt it would hurt to many folks feelings if he stayed there.

G-Man

Andrew Cuomo interviewed him while he was there and asked if he would help free an American imprisoned there.  He yelled at Cuomo asking "Do you know what he did to this country?"  So Cuomo said, "NO, the charges weren't released, tell me what he did."  Rodman went nuts saying "I'm not gonna tell you, you tell me!"

He's a moron and I hope he does stay there.  I wish the other ball players a safe return.

I want to visit Pripyat.  People think I am nuts.  My dad or brothers have no interest in joining me.

Now that my kid-making days are (Hopefully!) behind me, I wouldn't mind going...

I was in Kiev, around 60 miles from Chernobyl 4 years after it happened... Didn't get to go to Pripyat then, wouldn't have wanted to then though, woulda still been too hot.

We love traveling. There are so many places we would like to spend some time at. But, call me a wuss, Korea, Syria, etc. just ain't on the list, probably never will be. Heck, I refuse to go have another look at scenic southeast asia. Looked at it once and that was enough for a lifetime. Some friends have gone back and I still think they're nutz even though I can understand why they did it.
There are so many places in this country I want to see as well as some other 'more normal' countries. Don't get wrong, I'm not criticizing at all, just isn't my cup of tea.

I agree largely with what has been already said here.  It is not what is wrong, but what is right with this country that we allow people such as Rodman to go where he goes and say what he says without restricting his return or punishing his speech.

If there is something wrong with this country it is that so many of us pay attention to what someone such as Rodman is saying.

Patrick

Hmmm, now there may be a possible conspiracy. Maybe there is more to rodman's shenanigans than we realize. Maybe its just an attention diversion.  ???
