Glad it was no more severe than it was. This time of year can be pretty rough at times. I ride to work almost every morning regardless of temps but last week I found myself riding across a 50 or 60 foot long patch of ice created by runoff from the fountains at the State Capitol Building in the middle of Little Rock. I was on the ACE and managed to keep it upright but it was real squirrelly for a few seconds there.

That's the trouble with you boys down there.  You don't know how to deal with ice and snow.
Up here we stay in our cages and simply DON'T RIDE...   :(  :(  :(
</sarcasm>.

Seriously, hope everyone and everything will recover.  I don't like the bottom side of a Valk like that.

Gordon is fine so is his bike it didn't get a scratch.... Wimp lucked out too as far as damage it only made some deep gnarly digs in his saddlebag.... Paul ( Wimp ) falling on the ice and getting hurt was the worse part  :(

I've seen alot of people that thought they were cool , but then again Lord I've seen alot of fools.

This section of road was merely playing a game and sadly Wimp got caught up in it  ......Have you heard from Wimp today?

WNGD

I talked to him this evening he's in pain and he did go get x-rays ( right leg ) no word on that yet... I told him to get on the board and let folks know how he's doing.

We are so sorry to hear of the mishap. Wimp is such a great rider, and the only guy who rides with us older than my Wingmantn!! It is hard to look at the pics with 3 ladies down at once. It is good to know my great drinking partner, Gordon, is fine ( Mac says we are staying at the same hotel next year for his Veteran's weekend ride so I don't want to lose any of my drinking buddies to injuries of black ice!). Please keep everyone updated on Wimp, and if he needs anything...we will all help.

We are planning on it. If Tom isn't back from his trip around the country, I am going to ride with Mac or Kathy, I am not missing this Inzane...I've already told him 8 weeks is long enough to ride the country! I don't want to miss the great Summer rides we have now that I am hooked on riding. If he is gone too long, I will sell that damn harley of his and buy something to drive myself!!  :crazy2:

trout dude

I've been off line for a few days now and seen what happen hope Wimp is going to be okay Glad to hear that you Joe & Gordon come out off this ok Looks like this could have ended a lot worst than it did thank god for all the riding skills you all have looking forward to riding with y'all soon

I'm glad you guys were messed up worse...
Give Gordon my best...
Life is not a journey to the grave with the expectation of arriving in one pretty, well preserved piece but, to be skidded into broadside at full speed, battered, bruised, and thoroughly used up, having poked the grim reaper in the eye shouting "GERONIMO"

Glad to see everyone was OK. Now do we add boot creepers to our travel check off list !!!
