Yupper, I remember.

He would rap the engine twice while rolling and pop the clutch, she would lean back and up it would come.

Then you'd hear it hit the ground hard and he was on his way up the street.

That was where the Burger King was located, can't remember the name of the town.   I was standing behind my Trike on the sidewalk, it was parked under their sign.

Yeah, I remember him. He did a few wheelies on Doc's street too when we were  celebrating RJ's birthday at Doc's cookout.

He performed the marriage ceremony at the CBR for Highlander.  Here's a pic of three VRCC'rs figuring out the PA system at the event. Do you recognize them?

Gooder one solo1, couldn't mistake that hip pocket.    LOL.

Black Dog

Hollywood & Mrs Hollywood...

I remember she has a voice like a Nightingale

One of the gatherings I always looked forward to  :cooldude:

Black Dog
Just when the highway straightened out for a mile
And I was thinkin' I'd just cruise for a while
A fork in the road brought a new episode
Don't you know...

Conform, go crazy, or ride a motorcycle...

Wizzard

Dave, your eyes are better than mine.

The top row and all the way to the right, dancing with the Bunny.  Is that me?
I kind of remember dancing with a bunny but didn't know anyone shot a picture of it.

Yes Both of those people are good to go.    Loved Mrs Hollywood, (don't know how to spell Kristiene) when she sang.     Beautiful voice.

I also remember the 1st time he blessed the Chevy Trike.  He looked at it, said WOW, and then gave his blessing.     That was the best she ever run home from Indiana.   That ride home from Doc's CBR was a restful ride.   I'd set the Cruise at 80, slide my rear down in the seat and let the big Chevy haul the mail.   Stop for gas at the Big Truckstop in Eastern Iowa, for fuel and it was ready to head for home.    I think it could of probably got home by itself.

Had a Indiana State Trooper, follow me into Illinois one year, he wanted to have a look see of my ride.    When he pulled me over, he admitted he told the Dispatcher the reason for the traffic stop was I didn't have a rear plate.

It was there, and he said he could see it, BUT just had to have a look see of that big Trike.   Offered him a ride but he said he'd pass.

I believe so. It was this last summer or last year I saw him on the Valk.

Yep, you're right.  I always kinda liked this pic.

I miss the CBR's but Doc just had too much to do as it got popular.

I heard that the ground zero motel at Crawfordsville has gone downhill.

The one we used to use, you are correct, it is or was almost a trash house last time I was there.

Someone built a big new one across the street and back in the field.  I think they thought it would be a $$$$ maker if they charged very high rates for the rooms.

Haven't heard how it is now.     But their attitude would of had to change if I was to stay there again.

Hollywood and Kristina are doing well. They have two little ones now, boy and girl. Hollywood has an Air Show Ministry and he is training as a stunt pilot. We've become really close friends through CMA. Yes, he still has and rides his Valk (along with a ZX14 Ninja). He performed a wheelie on my Valk once after I made the mistake of saying something like "my Valk won't wheelie...!"

Cheryl and I miss the CBR rides too. Was good fun and great people!

Sorry, RJ... You don't quite have my "technique" figured out.  I have never popped the clutch on my Valk... Rarely has it ever come down "hard"... I've never blown a fork seal doing a wheelie (I did once in an Arkansas construction zone!)... And my 1st u-joint lasted 110,000 miles.  Mrs. HW sat back against the seat rest just to make her weight (which ain't much weight) stable... Remember, I was doing wheelies before I met her. Some thought she had to be on the bike for me to wheelie... That's when I started going out to wheelie without her & then she would climb on for more stunts.  She had a lot of women tell her they would whack their husband/boyfriend in the head if he tried that.  She would always reply: 1) Whacking the guy in control of the bike isn't very smart! & 2) I love it when he does that!   She is definitely a precious gift of God to Me!

10-04 that Hollywood.

I heard ya rev it twice and I just assumed you popped the clutch.

My error.......

If I remember, Hollywood said that he let the rev limiter take over to let the front end back down easy, is that right, Hollywood?

At any rate, I remember well the wedding of Highlander that you performed at the CBR.

Not quite solo1.  I rarely hit the rev limiter (unless I miss a shift). :-[  Don't want to give away all my secrets but if ya use the horsepower and torque curves you can bring the front wheel back to the pavement nice and easy.... Well, as easy as any 1000 lb machine is gonna come down.

I remember the wedding very well... I consider Highlander a wonderful friend and was honored to be a part of it!

Incidentally, wish you all could have seen the look on Cruisin' Dave's face when he found out his Valk COULD wheelie.... And quite nicely I might add!   :cooldude:

Speaking of Highlander, haven't seen anything of him in years. Is he still around?
If you're gonna be stupid, ya gota be tough

Yeah, he is a camera man or something along that line for a movie maker outfit.

Still lives in Illinois, forgot the name of the town.

Sorry.  Wheelie at your own risk.  I spent literally years perfecting the Valk wheelie.  I dare not tell anyone how to wheelie.  :-X Someone could go wreck themselves, their Valk, or someone else and I don't want anyone saying that I "taught" them how to wheelie.  :o Hope this doesn't sound harsh.  I really don't mean it to.  And as I stated in a previous post... I won't even teach the Mrs. how to wheelie... and she ranks a whole lot higher than you guys!   ;)
