I have asked people before and no one can answer that question. When storms are forecasted I avoid buying these items just so's I don't look like another panic stricken sheep.   :uglystupid2:

  Well if it dose what they say it's going to it will  be fun around here on tuesday and wednesday
Weather man says snow in La north and south shore (Mandeville and New Orleans) Time will tell and i know how it is up north but we are not use to this.

Here in Loo-zee-aner, all Lafayette Parish schools were shut down last week for the freeze...

Tomorrow and Wednesday, they are ALL shut down again!!   ;D 

Hell... I even get the day off of work tomorrow, and I work in the oil field!!   :crazy2: 

Us southerners just can't handle cold.   :2funny:

I like the way you think  :cooldude:  The weather models I've seen are pretty much keeping it south of The Great State Of Tennessee... Its going to be bitter cold the wind outside right now ain't cuttin' it no slack .

Don't care what kind of vehicle and how new it is.  When you crank it up for the first time more than likely it will moan and groan and buzz and make some other odd noises for a little bit  -  IF IT EVEN STARTS.

I keep stocked up on food.  Milk and eggs I run out of more often since they spoil (I freeze good home made bread when I can get it).

Today I stocked up on gasoline.......... not that I have great expectations my generator will run for longer than 20 minutes at a time.  But I like to be hopeful.

If you want to be different, stock up on yogurt, pickles, and Kotex pads.  ;D

25 deg and snowing a fine powder now here in West Central Louisiana.  Went out yesterday and cut a pile of firewood for the fireplace, gonna stay cozy till it passes.  Its crazy, supposed to be in the 70s the next couple of days.  Guess that's a good thing.

Had A Doctor Appointment At 11:00, As I Walked Through The garage Past The Fat Lady, I Could Hear Her Calling To Me.    So, I Turned Around, Went Back Inside And Put On My Leather Jacket And Gaunlet Gloves.    She Does Run Well In The Cold Air.    But, I Have To Be Honest, There Are Some Cagers Out Their That don't Seem To Understand And Look AtYou Like you're Nuts.

The motor in the squirrel cage in the downstairs air handler, the only part of our
HVAC that isn't new, started shreiking this morning. The HVAC guy came right
out and fixed it  :cooldude:
