I walked back in the room about 30 minutes into it.  Just in time to see the commentators talking about the speech. 
It was a pretty unusual sight, seeing the snow storm out the window with the White House in the background. 

I watched about 2 minutes of it.

I never watch SOTU addresses from this president.
Saw what he was back in 2008. Kinda surprised he got a second term but should we expect with the dumbing down of the electorate finally bearing fruit for the left.

A president’s annual address to Congress offers the opportunity to write a wish list for the year ahead. In the weeks leading up to his 2014 State of the Union, President Obama emphasized a plan to work around Congress to accomplish his goals when they would not act.
Pretty much summed it up for me. We have a dictator on our hands that has a ego or agenda that he feels is above the democratic process and needs to divide the country further by bitter politics. Hasn't kept his word, raised taxes, lied, has not accepted responsibility why would anyone want to listen to this address.

In the State of the Union address last night, Obama once again called for an increase in the federal minimum wage. This inspired me to raise my own hiring standards. From this moment on, it will be illegal to hire me for under $100 an hour. More than I am currently making-- woo raise. BRB I'm telling my boss. I don't see how this can go wrong.

New York just raised the minimum wage, so, I increased my pay by the same percentage. It'll be interesting to see how this works out.

What about all those junior military folks that are eligible for welfare and/or food stamps.... maybe he should give them a raise.  And what about that money he stole from military retirees here recently in reducing the COLA.  WTF....  he should take a pay cut as should every other politician, to help the income inequality they address.
