Bike Bandit lists the #2 movie as '2) 1961 Triumph TR6 from The Great Escape (1963)'.

I know it is early and I just got up but a Triumph TR6 is a car.

Triumph was McQueen's favorite motorcycle and the bike he used in the film was a refurbished 1962 Thunderbird*.

McQueen did most of his own motorcycle stunts in The Great Escape and he even attempted the final jump in the movie, but he crashed and his attempt didn't make it into the final cut. The jump you see on screen was actually performed by a friend of McQueen, Bud Ekins, who owned a motorcycle shop in California.

Steve McQueen wasn't far away, though. While Ekins is pretending to be McQueen jumping over 60 feet of fencing, McQueen is actually in the background dressed as a German chasing himself! McQueen also plays the German who is taken off his motorcycle by McQueen (the escaped POW) using wire strung across the road.

If he would have got off the bike sooner and crawled thru the wire before the bad guys got there, he could have made it.

I believe it was a TR6 that made the jump even though McQueen wasn't doing the driving.
The TR6 was a single carburetor version of the great 650cc twin.

I know it was about the motorcycles in the movie, but On Any Sunday was THE best motorcycle movie ever. And guess what, Steve McQueen was in it!
