   Best thing he can do is take pics and send them to his insurance company. I'd have an adjuster come out. There is no good way to take care of that!!!

Many years ago I was working out of town and using the company truck.
Came back to find my personal vehicle frozen into the parking lot. :tickedoff: The car would start, just wouldn't move.
Seems we had a thaw which flooded the back lot then got cold again.
8:30 at night in the snow with a bar and BFH chipping 4" deep ice from around the tires. I'll never forget it.

I had a similar exp in my DC metro (subway) parking garage.  Only it was slow and insidious occasional rainwater, leaching out concrete lime, and very slowly destroying the paint on my hood.  It took a while to figure out what was happening, and only to the hood.   :tickedoff:

As I arrived daily for the 5am first train, I got the best spot available.... but that turned out to be two spots over.
