I work a 9-80 Schedule and get every other Friday off work. I live on the north side of Houston. I am looking to take some longer rides and need to know if their are other Valk riders near Houston that work the same schedule and would like to put some miles on. I'm off Feb 7,21 and March 7 .
I use to being at work 6-4 so getting our early in the morning works for me. overnighters in Arkansas or other nice ridding places are an option. My longest weekend run was to Lubbock Tx to visit my kid . . Let me know if you have free Fridays and would like to ride. I'm open to destinations.

Come on down to the south of Houston. I will take you on a ride of the coast with good places for lunch. Bet I can round up a few to go along.   :cooldude:

When im in town I am open to ride any day of the week, Im in Katy

Going thru Houston on a Friday morning after 6AM sucks. If I headed that way I would probably go to Kemah Thursday evening and sleep on a boat or blast across town at 5AM. I leave the house at 5AM everyday anyway. Ill keep open this coming Friday and let you know if a ride will work. Looks to be cold and wet but I usually can deal with that. From spring to Hitchcock or Katy is about 60 miles. I use to work at IH10 and Barker Cypress so I know the traffic. I have only been south a few times and road the blue water highway from Surfside to Galveston. Need to go west. We can keep this thread open.

I agree, there will be better days.

Friday may be a good day to go hunting.

If ya'll head west I might be able to join since I'm off on Fridays (or am most Fridays, 4-10 work week).
120 miles SW of Houston.

Good to hear from you too, Wizard.  Been kinda keeping up with you through this site and Early Bird.  U did a stint in Arizona/New Mexico for a bit, rite?

I'm not north, been here in Victoria for the last 35 yrs.  Born/raised in Hallettsville, 50 miles north of Vic.  Good riding FM roads there.

Hope we can get together. I like Friday rides, not so crowded.

Live in SW Houston, usually roll down to Bacliff/Galveston or Tomball and Conroe (100-150 round trip)
Seems like not much, but it totaled over 103,000 miles in the past 11 years  :) And it's weekends only(wear suit to work).
Anyway looking for company that can roll a little over speed limit hehe
