I understand that 98.9% of things seen on TV are fake, lies, and fantasy, just pure crap for our entertainment.  I believe that Court TV is one of the few things that is relativity close to the truth.  These people are not actors, they are the real deal, real cases, OK.  If you have good eye you can usually tell if they are being for real or drama queens. I watch it for reference, I enjoy observing people, trying to figure what makes them tick.  I have to tell you, I have observed some of the most mindless people and you can tell it is not a put on. About 90% are younger generation and say and believe some the most incredible stuff I have ever heard coming out of a human mouth.  Allot of these people believe that the internet and social web sights are private and the information that they put on there just disappears after time and what they do does not effect there future.  They have an attitude which they think everything in life is owed to them because they exist. You would see it to believe it.

That is because they were never taught to think for themselves.
Here in metro Detroit, education is looked down upon by the wannabee gangbangers. These are the people that make fun of those that would think for themselves.

It is a shame that this world is going through the "de-evolution" in the inner cities, but alas we are going to "hell in a hand basket" very quickly.

Judge Judy, and those ilk of shows are BS as far as I'm concerned.  They may be marginally educational about how to prepare for a small claims case, secure evidence, and make arguments.

But I would not be taking any of Judy's BS.  Respect in anything is a two way street, and she seems to have none for anyone.

You want some entertainment, go down to your local traffic/misdemeanor court for a day.  You must control your laughter however, lest you get a visit from the bailiff.

Last time I was there, the first thing the guy said about his (minor) accident, was that he was upset because he had had two minor accidents earlier in the same day.  Things went downhill from there.

Your right about Judge Judy, She has no respect for anyone.  Wait till Hillary becomes President, you will see a mean one.



That's a good Idea about sitting in on court rooms, we just had a mother  next city over, cut up her son in little pieces and throw the parts out the window in a car in an other city north of us.  Wonder if they would let me sit in on that.

several years ago I had a small claims case against a renter (something i'll NEVER do again) and I had if filed in Chippewa County when I got a phone call from some TV producer for People Court.  I called 'em back and asked if they were serious?  never heard from them again.....  I did win my claim though, getting money from a loser is another issue!!  I did learn, sue the woman if you want to collect, you can garnish money from the welfare system easier than a loser that's got 4 kids that they're paying for, they come first.....

She does make good tv though precisely because of her character or lack thereof
