You got that right, usually get that much all winter. I have two motorcycles, two cars, an aux generator, and a large tool chest in my garage.  Unfortunately a snow blower is not included.  The truck will have to wait for a melt off.  I expect I can get it out about March sometime, with the forecast of sub zero at night for the next week or so.  Hoser   ;D  :D  :o

Hey John, that is the reason I bought this big boy.

This guy is just a little one but he can carry his own weight.

It was 10* today so the wife went out and run it.   I think the temp was 6* when she did it.   Dr told me to stay in the house if temp is 15* or below.

This was only the 3rd time she rode it in snow and she did a damn good job.   Love those farm girls, they know how to work, and run equipment.

This is the specs on it, except My blower is only 36", sidewalk width.

.20 hp; 2WD Drive; 54 in Mower Deck Width; 2WD. HYDRO. GAS

Up until this year, when it snowed, I run the hell out of the old girl,'  it has a water cooled twin engine by Kawasaki.   It sets in the garage it is sticking out of and has started a couple of times when we had -15* and a hell of a wind blowing.

I had the snout turned down as low as it would go, hit a good snow bank and it was throwing it with the wind, she shot snow about 60'.   My neighbor complained even though I blew him back out where I covered him up.   He is a little prick anyway.

Blew him out one year when a 11" storm hit us.   He never stuck his head out the door to say thanks or nothing.

The next year we got a good snowfall, I blew out all the other neighbors EXCEPT him.    He come down and asked why I didn't blow his out.   Told him to present me with $40 and I would.    He hasn't talked to me since and really, I'd glad he doesn't.

Big green is the way to go, spent a couple years as Grounds supervisor at a large retirement center in T town, after I retired from the TFD, had a couple of them rascals we used when it snowed, 8 ft blade on my shop truck for the road, and two guys on the Deere's and another on a walk around and we could clear the walks and streets by the time the old folks got out of bed.  The buildings were all connected, all the individual houses were singles and duplexes. Should have kept that job, I really liked it. Yah live and learn, I guess.  It sounds dumb, I know, but I enjoy being able to work like a young man once in a while, so I clear my sizable driveway with a snow shovel.  Hoser  ;D

That darn snow is coming down here too. Pushed it around twice so far today. It'll need it again come morning. I don't even think twice about it until we get at least 6".

Hoser: Does this mean you will not be riding for breakfast? Here is a shot of my place at noon today, Running out of places to put the white crap. Yea I have JD 320 with a blower on it and love it. But then again I've worked at the same JD dealership for 40 years, so I'm partial to green. This will all be over in a month or so  {I hope}

Tell us again why you all live up there! I know it gets hot here in the summer, but at least I'm not shoveling anything.  :cooldude:

My wife is asking me the same question, I do not have a clue and especially in the Peoples republic of IL.  ;D

Mainly because all of our kids but 2 live close by and lots of Grand kids to spoil, so it is worth the get em equal time.     Their mommy & daddy, are feeling the pain they gave us growing up.   LOL.

Best thing to do is babysit for them, give the kids a bunch of chocolate just before mommy or daddy pick them up.

I make damn sure they have the chocolate fix before they go home.

My ears are burning into the night from all the bitching the kids are doing.

Oh man, it is a Premium get it on.

Snow removal must be sport up there. Down here, we just wait for the sun to come out.

It has been a rough one this year. I have not seen the thermometer that low for that long

in years around here.

Atlanta would like to forget this winter for sure.

Atlanta screwed up and Shutdown, Chaos everywhere after Winter Storm
GOD SAVE THE UNITED STATES from the democrats is my prayer.

When I lived in East Texas the folks that were born there told me they used the Bible for snow removal-the Lord giveth-the Lord taketh away.  RIDE SAFE.

I went to City hall to pay my utility bill and I had a complaint for the nice lady behind the desk. I asked her to go to the big warehouse where the 'Winter" switch is located and turn the durned thing OFF.  :2funny: What that purty little gal said to me CAN NOT be repeated here.  :tickedoff: Well after all was said and done I had at the very least-tried!!  :cooldude: RIDE SAFE.

Lots of snow here too, in NE Indiana.

I left my snowblower with Mark when I sold him the house.  Now I just watch when snow is removed here.  This Bobcat with treads really does it.

Snow in Houston this morning!  It is all the rage and the news teams are scrambling to get it on the air.  Surprised that the schools aren't closing...   ;D

Up here in Northern MI, we are getting a winter like we used to...the past few have
been "sissy" winters.   I had to change the gas/oil and run some Seafoam through the
snowblower last fall because I hadn't used it in 3 years.  I just shoveled at my leisure recent winters, because we have the SUV and it can get through most stuff.  This is the first winter my wife and I are both retired, so now it's like, "what's the rush".  I have used the snowblower a few times because I knew the frigid temps were hanging around (I can't remember so many below zero nights) and
was afraid I would end up with big frozen mounds of snow/ice.  Listen to your doc, RJ.  I have some heart stuff and was told the same thing.  I have ignored it a couple times and I must say, didn't feel so hot out there and usually came in after a bit.  I still prefer this over hot/humid weather.

New mailman. Everyone has been complaining because he leaves the mailbox doors open. His boss of course says it won't happen again. The only way  the snow plow can get to my mailbox is if the door is open, I've made a plow guard for it. Well, mailbox was thrown 100 ft today because that idiot left the door open again. Tomorrow morning that mail box will be set on the idiots boss' desk. It was a new $50 box, isn't worth a dime now.
Winter just isn't snow, ice and frozen pipes.
