OK, the oil seals were in upside down.  Now for the oil.  I used a zip tie for a dipstick.  The left side took 2 oz less than recommended and the right side took 5 oz less.  I have to assume that the right side holds a lot more oil if your not doing a complete dis assemble.  Anyway, I hope everything is good, because I have it all back together.

Steve, who put them in upside down?     Our famous Stealer we have access to?

I don't trust their shop work.    Shut up IA Fuzzy aka R J Miles, I know that is your 2nd home. right after the Maid Rite on NE 14th street.

I, yes me.  I put the seals in upside down.   :uglystupid2:  Went all the way to the UP of MI with them leaking.  What a mess by the time I got back.

Glad you got it working.
Now how about that states traveled display :)

Yea, the states traveled.  I can't find the site where I done that, but I am working on it.

It would be a great thing to add to a "sticky" or tech article search if you'd write up your experience so that others don't make the same mistake.  Pictures would help too.

Sorry you had to go through this work twice....
