Women's Hockey

I love hockey and am watching Germany vs. Russia right now. But there seems times are passing me by. Now adays there are women hockey players and women MMA fighters that would have kicked my ass even in my prime Anyway I hope these German girls kick the crap out of them rooskies!

I have watched my kids (girls) 7th/8th grade track meets and my boys 7th/8th grade basketball games and even in my prime in high school jr. and sr. years I doubt I could have outrun or won a BB game on some of these middle school kids nowadays.  Football yes, but not BB or track.  Just yesterday in a 7th grade BB tournament for boys,  there were 2 teams in 7th grade that would probably have won a varsity BB game.  2-3 kids on the top 2 teams in 7th grade were like 6'4" tall - NO joke! and they could handle that BB like a pro.  They are coached and trained as young as 1st and 2nd grade nowadays and our tiny school starts BB even in 3rd and 4th grade now unlike when we were youngens.
