Hi all. A serious post this time from Todd.  Does anyone know where to buy a passenger push-to-talk headset? Recently acquired a Valk CB and trying to set it up. Have heard that they are no longer offered by Honda.

Todd one might find that although this seems like a very good idea, it might not in the end be as beneficial as one had thought originally.   :-X
I can't answer your question, just my attempt at a little humor.  We bought some of the vox operated headsets so we could talk back and forth while riding.  There were a couple of times when we were in some severe twisty roads in North Carolina when I asked not to be disturbed.  You get comments like "Oh Shoot that was a bad curve".  Or "Did you see that rock on the road?" :D

DO NOT ANSWER that, there is NO RIGHT ANSWER, it's a set up and you will REGRET it for the rest of your life   ;D

Well, since Terry brought it up...I had an intercom in the helmets when I had my 98 Aspencade GW. I really didn't want to engage in a lot of talking while riding, my girlfriend really did. After about 3 or 4 months, the darn thing just quit working...don't know why... I never got it "fixed". Just my opinion..your results may vary..
I still miss her.

@Wow, another Florida post I will not touch...  :)

But, J&M makes headsets that plug right into the Valk Interstate system.  The driver and passenger plugs are the same.  Round 5 pin I think.

Okay, I can see where this is going.   ;D  I should have known better than to ask a tech-type question so close on the heels of the cleavage post.  And no, as fun as it is to see you guys squirm, it's not one of those double-edged trick questions which wives/girlfriends love to ask. And yes, he really does want to hear me talk. We discuss  motorcycle tires, throttle locks, microbiology, quantum physics, etc. Fun stuff.

And thanks, Hay Hauler, for your suggestion.  Will look into that.  Smiles and miles to all.  :cooldude:

We have used J&M in the past Pennie, with no complaints.
She just smacks me on the helmet or in the ribs now to get my attention ;D
If you can't be a good example: be a WARNING!!

I have gotten nudged a few times, but never slapped on the helmet.  Just look at it like a rev-limiter.  :)  I "try" to ride civilized when she is on the back and most of the time I succeed.
