Hi All This past weekend Sue and myself came north from 5 weeks biking on our Valkyrie in Florida. On the way back,we stayed afew days in Shippensburg Pa, with some of our best friends Rick and Deb and planned this years PowWow. Its one thing to plan but we did have to eat. Some pics of our dining.

All in all ,we got most of the PowWow planning done which is a good thing because my belt was stretching as it was. Always great spending time with Rick and Deb. Hope to see lots out for PowWow May long weekend.

Adrian,
Looks like you had a great time.   It's always good to visit with friends like Rick and Deb.   Very special people.    :cooldude:

But, please enlighten me.   There seems to be some food left on Rick's plate.   Was this pic photo shopped?    ;)

OK Adrian, that ice cream dessert I see you holding, is that for someone else? If not then I think we need to slip a note to your doctor with the evidence.  ;D

Boy oh boy  I would really like to make the POW WOW ride it sounds great. BUT I need help, is there anyone who has a room that would like a roommate to share the cost. I plan on arriving on Friday and leaving on Monday. Leave Alabama and take the Blue ridge Parkway all the way taking two day for the trip. If someone has an extra bed let me know please.

Can't wait. Winter is not going away fast enough for me. I go into the barn and start the bikes to ease the depression of not being on them for so long..

Santa, just got off the phone with Ron/Rams, and he told about PowWow and your post.  I'd be happy to share a room.  This is an easy 130 miles for me.  I don't know where to sign up or get a room, but if you do it, I'll split cost (and if something falls thru, I'll still cover my end). Or if you need me to do it, tell me who to call. (I do not snore or fart.... much)

Assuming it is not still snowing on Memorial Day weekend.   :crazy2:

Jess its a done deal. I'll call and book a double room for us, TWO BEDS. I plan on getting there on Friday night and leaving on Monday morning. Thats 3 nights in hotel. Thanks for responding.

Jess, it's under upcoming events on the home page. Look forward to meeting you there. Great riding and some really good food. And always have to stop for ice cream, Adrian's weakness.

It is difficult to keep food from dropping on the shirt when you
are trying to check out the kilt girls eh?

If you are on the fence about Powwow dont be, Rick puts together a great weekend

Santa, the Sun ride appears to swing closer to home, and I am thinking I would peel off during the Sun ride.

Is it trouble if I do Fri, Sat but not Sun?  Not positive, but this is my thinking.  If it leaves you in a tight spot just say so.

Jess,
Making that decision now may be short sighted.   The last evening of Pow Wow is one of the best.   Might not want to miss that.

The hotel looks familiar. Wasn't that one for the Blue and the Grey ride?

Wow, that's very disconcerting.    Now I'm concerned and will have to call the hotel and check to ensure my reservations are still good.    I've already got a roomie but, if things don't work out, we'll figure something out.

Edited:   Whew!!!, just checked and verified that my reservations are still valid.   I'm really not into camping.  ;)   The Marines and Army paid me to do that for years, had my fill of it.
