I think she has added to the show, I didn'r watch it much till she came aboard.
I bet she doesn't get any action from  the two in the van...they remind me of Jerry & George on "Seinfield".  Have you ever noticed how they get excited over some old something or other...but won't pay much attention to her....no matter how low of tank tops she has on. If she was in my office, I would send the little guy out on his own. :evil:

Don't particularly care for either of the guys or the show.  Seems so self serving when they post the price paid, and the anticipated sale price and anticipated profit.  Buying and selling junk is not that interesting.  I've spent a lifetime avoiding markup middlemen, whenever I can.

Similar to Wheeler Dealers, which I do enjoy.  Mike Brewer the pure BS artist, and Edd China the gifted wrench.  Edd spends weeks bringing a car back to life (the part of the show I enjoy), then at the end they post all the costs of repair, against the sale price, often with not that much margin of profit.  And I wonder, does Edd get paid for all his skilled labor, or is he just Mike's slave?  Because Edd's labor cost is never mentioned. And never any of this..... we have to get it done yesterday crap which dominates the plot of all these shows, boringly and repetitively.

I just saw for the first time a public service TV add last night telling us calling things gay is bad and hurtful and asking us to stop....... wonder how many Federal (our) dollars went into that BS?

I think men's earrings are gay, whether the wearer is actually gay or not (I don't care).  ;D

I really don't care if people are "gay".  I understand that some people are homosexual.....I get that...I really do.  I don't care what consenting adults do in their own homes....really, I don't. 

And to paraphrase Serk, I'm about as gay tolorant as a straight man can be, but I'm really starting to get seriously tired of having my nose rubbed in it constantly by a population that has been reported to be less than 4% of the total. 

A gay wedding in the middle of the Rose Parade was a bit much.   :o

The only tats I care for are those reflecting military service or our cherished freedoms/beliefs.

A strawberry on a cute ankle is OK too.  (no one believes a cherry  ;D)

Read up on the joys of Hepatitis some time.

To me, yards of ink/multiple visible piercings on a female telegraphs underlying issues you don't want any part of (do NOT pick me), and are highly unattractive, esp on otherwise beautiful young ladies.

I'm with Meathead, I like American Pickers.  I guess it's because I have gone to a lot of auctions and collected a lot of stuff (junk). 

On my way home from NC in 2012, I had intended to visit their two Antiques Archaeology stores in Nashville and LeClaire Iowa.  They were in the middle of each of the two day, 1000 mile journey.  I stopped at the Nashville store and came away somewhat disappointed.  It seemed that all there sales consisted of t-shirts, caps, mugs and other tourist items.  The antiques that were for sale were all priced out of this world.  Within a mile after leaving, my rear end pinion cup totally failed.  I spent the next two days in Nashville getting it repaired at Howard's Honda.  Once on the road again, I did not bother to stop at the LeClaire Antiques Archaeology. 

I still watch American Pickers, Mike and Frank are a modern version of Laurel and Hardy or maybe Mutt and Jeff.

Tats can do with or without doesn't really matter but I think she is a tad over the top on tats.

Now, a guy with an earring is a different story.  My dad always told me if I get a pierced ear it is coming out with a pliers seeing as how a few guys in my high school class got one.  I was joking with him since I never would consider one for a guy.

What gets me is this latest trend of guys and girls coloring their hair odd colors like purple or bright red/pink and coming into work looking like a freak of nature punk rocker.  If I was in HR,  I'd NEVER hire someone with wild hair colors and standing straight up and flaired out all over like a few do where I work in a warehouse.  Sadly,  these are the same people who also pierce their nose (and other body parts am sure) and guys for earrings.  You'd think since they are probably making only 8-9 bucks per hour where I work, they would have a more drastic need to spend money on food and bills vs. hair colors and earrings and those DARN BAGGY PANTS that would fit my big butt.  :2funny:

Yes, everytime this comes up I remember the great joke about the old guy staring at a kid with pointy pink hair, tats, piercings, yada.  The kid says hey grandad, didn't you ever do anything wild in your youth? And grandad says, yeah I did, I once porked a peacock.... and I was just wondering if you were my son.

A couple of summers ago I was in Nashville and one of the things on my list to see was their store there.
We were on a tour bus (where you could get off at a stop for awhile and then catch the next bus) and as we pulled up there were probably 50 people waiting outside I guess cause the store was awful crowded.
I thought "you know, I like that show but not that much to wait for no telling how long." so we just stayed on the bus.
A couple got on the bus there and said they were there for an hour and never got to go in.

At this stage in my life there is only a few things I want to wait in line for, and this ain't one of 'em. Especially in the hot summer sun!

Yes, I think this is a a big part of it.  One great big deal about this constitutional republic we have is the freedom it gives to everyone to have an opinion and voice about things, what they like, what they don't, and to shout it from the rooftops.  The power of the individual to succeed or fail all by himself, given nothing but a level playing field.    

The great big sad part today is that so many would ruin our country, our economic and industrial base, our ability to find a decent job, even our natural desire to work and prosper and get ahead and make a better life for ourselves and children...... all for self interest and what's in it for me/us today, right now, and damn the consequences tomorrow.  

There has always been rough politics; the nasty stuff we have had for the last few election cycles has always been with us.  But (aside from the Civil War or War of Northern Aggression, with plenty of guilt on both sides*) I don't remember a time when individual self interest drove us to the point of self destruction of the entire nation.  Lean left or lean right, argue about how you want to proceed, but don't kill the beautiful golden goose that our forefathers gave us, and millions went to war to preserve, an ideal for humankind to look up to. (at least in theory, if not in practice)

Or, I'll put it another way... You would think it was in all our elected officials best interest (because of their sacred trust to every person they represent of either party, and the Const.) to be able to get together, just enough to not bankrupt the nation of treasure and working men's/families lives and ability to feed themselves and be productive citizens (not dependent citizens), and then continue to disagree on every other damn thing there is.
