I haven't heard anything about this before but it reminds me of Nazi Germany or like Good Morning Vietnam militarily approving news stories. We are in big trouble and this administration has pretty much supported their position on using crony politics.

Ajit Pai, a commissioner in the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), has issued a warning that the Obama administration has instructed the agency to dispatch researchers to monitor how the media’s newsrooms choose their stories. Under the guise of a media study, FCC monitors will investigate how news stations choose which breaking news to cover, which is information the Obama administration desperately needs to get ahead of scandals before they break.

The FCC has stopped implementation but why haven't we heard of this from any news media other than FOX? This has to stop it is really pretty alarming that such a effort by unknown people was even thought of or tried to be implemented. I was just wondering if anyone else had heard this shocking story.

That ship has sail a long time ago and your just noticing that now. I live north of Detroit and I use over the air antenna, so I also get Canadian channels and to me basically their news is night and day. But you have to look at all the US media, not just the news.

There must be some kind of mistake or misunderstanding concerning this. Our president surly wouldn't do anything which seemed unconstitutional...... Would he?

They gave up on the idea for now. An FCC commissioner played whistleblower and pulled the covers on the rest of the dolts.

Seems like the first they would have walked into would have been Fox. Talk about 1984.

I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to
