I've always believed that training most animals (house pets) was a combination of teaching the animal (dogs, cats think they are in charge) to react to certain human actions or sounds.   But, it also involves the human or trainer to learn to interpret the dog's behavior so as to know what the animal wants, go outside, food, water, attention or whatever.

If this device is developed, I can just imagine that training being more of a two way street and I don't believe I want to go there.   Just wait till you dog tells you to sit, lay down or stop making that noise.
