lets say you live in a small town, you own a store that gets robbed.  the sheriff comes in to investigate and isn't able to make an arrest.  you get robbed again, and again, and again!  each time the sheriff isn't able to help.  so you do your own investigation to find out that the town cop is a crook!

when a person that is in power, has the "authority" of all forms of enforcements, that person had BETTER be trust worthy.  if you can't trust him with the small things (such as a simple birth certificate) how on earth can you trust him with the "big" things?

What people dont know wont hurt them will it Paxton? Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Unfortunately its the ones that have no moral compass that allow the ones that work deception to go on. I'm sure you are a good person but without rules and guidelines then everyone is able to do exactly what they want. To hell with how things were established, to hell with promises, to hell with your rights or our children's rights. So what if we sign new taxes into law without considering cuts that people may not like. If we over spend lets just put it on the next ones. Your attitude is reflective of someone who cannot see past one day or reflect on the problems that life really brings. Much less a country that was founded on principles and laws. Why should the people follow the laws if Congress or the President does not? Where is their moral compass, to understand the awesome opportunity they were given to be a servant of the people and fight for a nation that in public trust was turned over to them to make sure it is not corrupted, subverted, and used for personal gain? Morals ones instilled by our Creator and answerable to Him, one day. These are really the bedrock of men making the correct decisions. I dont answer to you just as you dont answer to me so why should I give a dam about what you think or what direction you feel this country is going. That is what happens when you make a god in your own image, what ever it is and not keep God the head of all life. We all have a god, some the real God some ones of our own making. Some we dictate the rules to, one that gives us the rules. The closer we come to the one true God we begin to see His hand on all that was created. We look beyond ourselves and see a bigger picture. We understand that we are really not in so many ways the author and finisher of our fate. That is how the founding fathers of this great country could see beyond themselves establish a Constitution and laws that could not keep a morally deficient country straight, but could one that sought God as ruler of their lives. The signers of the Constitution gave up their personal fortunes and plans for the common good of a country that they had a vision for and God had put a plan in their heart. Most in creating this country lost all their wealth, yet looked and found a better promise to which to build on. We trample on their ideas, plans,thoughts,intentions,hope every time we dont fight for the ideals we were founded on. Every check and balance is put there to make sure men keep to the plan and ideals. That one man would not be able to get corrupted or corrupt the office or position they hold. That is what upholding the laws as this country was established mean to keeping this country on track, men on track. The people perish for lack of vision, the vision fails for lack of direction, laws, and moral backbone to keep the vision and direction through laws and compassion.

As a last thought since you did create a god in your own image and give him the rules and your life, I feel sorry for you. Because you have no idea the love, compassion, reward, and relationship that the One True God gives to those who seek and love Him. He will never fail but your god will most certainly fail. He warns us that there would be times like this and men like this but sustains us beyond what we could ever imagine. He 2000 years ago warned us of a one world government and just 10 years ago those who believe would have been laughed at. Anything that man has created has fallen and those who rely on it have also fallen. But God created the Bible, Prophets, and others to warn and guide us. It has not failed, the Prophecies have not failed and Jesus in one three day stretch was thought to have failed rose again and became the cornerstone of life for all who came before and from then on. Men corrupt then as now in their own mind evil reasoning thought they could put a end to Gods plan. So I would be very careful at considerations in things you dont see or understand. They may affect you in a bad way.

There are only 6,000 members of ABATE here in Fla.  It is AMAZING what we have accomplished with these few.  Our legislatitive sesson started yesterday.  How many of yall Fla riders make the run to Tallahassee?   AGAIN, this year, we will try go get a stiffer penalities bill through.  We have been trying for years to get a no texting law here. we finally did but it is so watered down its not even a primary stop. 

EVERY YEAR, I go see my legislators here, and once made the journey to Washington to see them.
