You mean clear IS trunk lenses?   Never heard of any.  No smoke either.  I doubt they are of any common size.

Guys have converted the IS trunk lights to all led arrays (and I can find a good link to the process if you want it), but stayed with the OE red lenses.  For the amount of time, effort and cost, it seems much easier to simply add additional lights  (starting with the Std taillight... which you already did to your SV. I have the std taillight on both my SV and 2d permanently trunked IS.

Since all our bikes are getting old, I will wager simply swapping out new for existing (and still working) bulbs would make a noticeable improvement.  I'm betting most interstate owners have never lost a trunk bulb.  Something like 85% of all interstates were made in '99, so those bulbs are all now 15yo.

If you're looking for more visibility without clear lens then go with the LED array bulbs coupled with a strobe brake flasher. I have a few Winger friends out there that have done that and the effect is stunning or alerting or shocking or.............but darn visible. If its just the custom look you're going after, good luck and get creative.

Don't remember where I saw it, there is a kit that you take a mold of your tail lights and cast a new one in the color of your choice.

I've heard of that also, but can't find the website anywhere.  I'd like to have clear lenses on the trunk, 'cause my signal and SV brake lens are clear.  just want 'em to match when I'm not Super Valked....

Not the trunk; but the rear signal-running lights on my I/S are RED to match the trunk lights. ;)
They used to be OME Amber /Orange.
I bought them RED ones from one of our members. :cooldude:

THAT'S IT!!  I remember someone posting those instructions several years ago, but of course I never wrote them down or kept note of it.

I'm doing it!  gonna order me some stuff to do that!!

since i'll be making a mold, who else might want some clear lenses?  you pay for material and shipping though....

give me a few months to do this, too many other coals in my fire right now.....

On American restoration ( the guy in Vegas) they can make lenses with a partial . Check with them to see about cost.
