I tried this a few years ago. I wanted the old designs brought back. It never happened. I also want henleys I don't care for tee shirts. no luck

In reference to the design change,   I really like the flying dragon change but, it's got to include that flat six engine.   That engine is the heart of our Valkyries.   

The eagle isn't just a symbol HD uses, it's also an American symbol (HD takes advantage of that), I know it depends on the viewer's perspective but, the proposed image sent a different message to me than I think was intended.   Just my two cents worth, no flame intended.

+1 I get the idea of the eagle but can also see where some would take it as a desecration of our National bird.
Also agree it's important to have the engine graphic. Maybe the engine graphic could be used in place of the eagle and in the same spot?

This post gave me an inspiration, how about a flying dragon with a flat six as it's heart carrying a hog in it's claws.    As in taking the prey to the nest image.  

Just a thought.     I'm no artist so, there's no way I could sketch it out.   I'll leave that to those who know which end of the pencil to use.
