What a beautiful Day Today.

Went over and picked up another bike with Carb issues. Got it torn down in about 2 hours then stopped. I'll' finish it up tomorrow. I'm getting pretty good at this carb thing. Watched the last few laps of the Sprint Car race in Vegas and just kicked back. I love daylight savings time and the longer evenings.

Good on ya . We don't worry about that stinking daylight savings over here. Spent my day off cleaning the pool & moving furniture around . But I did get to watch the end of the race also. That sucks running out of gas on the last lap.

Living in a "civilized" state (Arizona), means we don't have to worry about setting and re-setting clocks. Mind you, now that I'm retired, I don't worry about clocks anyway. Picked up my Valk from Big BF yesterday, with new shoes, new Progressive fork springs and oil and new steering head bearings. It's amazing how different the bike feels, in fact it felt so light on the steering that I rode home on surface streets to give myself a chance to acclimate. This is my first time with Avon Cobras and so far I love them, but it's hard to draw a comparison to the Metzelers as the steering wasn't up to par.

I've never ran a metzler but do run Avons and nothing else. I really like them.

It was beautiful, indeed; 85 degrees here in Glendale. I spent the whole day sitting on my Deck with my binoculars,
overlookin' the city and birdwatching. 

After 18 months in hiatus, I can't wait to have my standard all serviced and ready to go.
If things go as planned, I think she might be ready by the end of March.

I might consider joining the Eastern Arizona Ride... we'll see.

In retirement, clocks are pretty much unnecessary.   Nearly four years now, and the alarm has only gone off twice..... for early ride meetups.  Had to move if forward of 4:20AM, where it had been set for many years.

Definitely the Valk. She's raring to go and so am I. I've also installed a Switchblade with the 2-up screen just for touring. Much as I love the Spyder, my Valk is by far my favorite bike.........ever!!!!
