Small ride report to the snowbound

Nice weekend except my face got sunburned, went to do some chores on Saturday and Sunday was a birthday party for my wife's dad. I figured some would have cabin fever by now and want to see some color and summer pics. On Saturday started looking at flowers at Lowe's going down to Ft Lauderdale beach went to grab a hamburger at Jacks. Sat outside and of course my dog loves it because he gets a ride and hamburger to boot. Its amazing how well behaved he can be when food is involved. The weather was beautiful all weekend temps in the 80's breezy and ideal.

I really feel for ya and that sun burn, lol  supposed to be sixty here next two days and I will be riding.

Yorkie, we cut him short because he loves the backyard and with longer hair was a pain to keep clean. He had become lighter in color with age.

Glad to hear you can catch some wind I have been pretty busy so while I ride everyday I just havent had the time to just take off and ride with no special place to go and enjoy the day.

I noticed you have a sheepskin cover on the seat.  I had one custom made out of Florida. Looks identical to mine.  Don't remember the name of the place though. Got a new seat and ride without it now.

Nope the beach is Ft Lauderdale, A1A and commercial, brother in law bought a condo there and is pretty nice.

I also have a custom seat by Jeffery Phipps, but with the heat and I cut mine down to the minimum thickness its just enough for comfort and not to get my but wet with sweat. The cover was actually given to me by someone who had a Valk sold it and had this laying around. I was thinking about one but never would have bought it. But after using it I really like it. At the temps we run in the summer it does make a difference. I hate getting on a burning hot seat and in the rain it actually repels the water.

Oss one of my favorite houses in Manalapan the ocean is on the other side behind it and the intercoastal is just behind me as I took the pic. Has about 6 garages, tennis courts its so pretty



Someone posted a ride report and had a resturant that was on the water with fish in near the dock. I had this pic from a bridge that the restarant is just to the left of this pic. This was  beautiful spring day on top of the bridge looking south in West Palm or Riverera beach. The island is called Peanut Island and has a bunker for the President and a Coast Gaurd base there.

If you have an Ikea near bouts they have a nice selection of sheepskins in random sizes and reasonable prices. And thanks for the ride report. Monday and Tuesday here in the 70s. Be ridin fer sure.  RIDE SAFE.
