Well, if a Kentucky patch is made and priced halfway reasonably, I'd take a couple of the smaller versions.   Maybe more depending on price.

aRE WE SURE THE 1%'S won't give us a hard time byhputing the State name on them???? Some MC's state they "OWN" the satae and look down on location patches... SCRC had a hard time using a Conroe patch on our vests.... just checking....   

Kiwi... is the SCRC a member of the 'Confederation of Clubs'?  There are clubs in the area that wear Colors with rockers, and they are not 1%ers...  but they petition the COC and pay dues to have the right to wear the 'colors without an issue.  In Texas, the banditos control the COC.  I have no desire to pay them dues.

A prospect/probate has no authority to tell any rider what kind of patch they can or can't wear.
The prospect/probate must contact his club sponsor or a club officer (if there is an issue), regardless of a 1% club or not.

a few years ago we had a problem with the Banditos 1% in our area....during one of our BBQ...a group wearing state patches rode to  Galveston.....the police called Banditos and told them we were coming.....3 Banditos pulled over a group of about 30 riders...police watching everything....thanks to one of our riders, Tigger, he talked to the Banditos, our riders took off their vest, put them away and we were free to go.....Banditos own Galveston...if you wear a state patch in our area...YOU ARE CAUSING PROBLEMS TO OUR SAFETY...please do not wear a state patch and come to our house....we have been here and done that....Banditos watching our house......NO LARGE STATE PATCHES at our BBQ - GOTF....

I remember that day very well. It was really a strange event, I had no idea all that was going on in that vacant gas station but something was happening for sure.
Heck I never wear patches anyway, closest I get to it is the Levi tag on my jeans or Joe Rocket logo on my jacket.

Carhart jeans, how about bibs?

That is all I own in cold weather gear anymore.

They are sooo old I'm actually afraid to wear them, I'm afraid they will start falling apart and leaving me naked in a few choice places.

They were my cold weather gear for riding back when I 1st got MGM....

Don't remember where it was in Wyoming now, I was damn glad I had them with me.

Was actually headed for home from Alaska.   Stopped at this little spot in the road where there was a Motel and a place to eat.   Got a room, and went to bed.

Got up the next morning and there was close to 11" of snow on the ground.   The I-S looked clear, but gettin to it looked like a problem.     Went up to check with the office as to when I had to be out of the room or have to pay for aother night.

Desk clerk said the plow for our lot should be coming around the corner anytime now.   If you are loaded up and ready to go, I'll have him start at your door and plow a lane to the highway.   I said ok, I'll buy that, have him start where that motorcycle is setting.    He said, OH, will you actually ride in freshly plowed streets, I said if it has any concrete showing, I'll try it.

Plow got me to the highway, and I eased down the road pretty slowly, following traffic.     One Panel went around all of us kicking up a real good Rooster tail of snow and crap in the air behind him.

Figured I'd find him in a ditch somewhere.   I still staid at about 40 or 45 MPH.

The guy must have made it to where he was going as we never saw him again.

Opps! Not sure what I wore from Beartooth to Miles City/Baker. Wasnt carharts. Glad I didnt get stopped. Did have a couple guns on me so maybe I would get a free pass for that.

but you must of taken a wrong turn if you chose to ride from miles city to baker there are far better roads and scenery then that

After Beartooth I super slabbed it to ND. Did stop at Pomeys Pillar. Cool place. I do think the 80 miles from MC to Baker was a awesome route. Nice mom and pop place in Baker was real home like. If there was a more scenic route, that would have been awesome.
