Has to be an easier method of pulling an engine. Can't help but wonder where the pilot's attention was on approach.

I watched the video of that. By my thinking both were at fault, but, the jumper has to take most of the responsibility for it. They should have seen each other, thats the first commandment of flying to keep your head on a swivel. When I first watched it I was wondering what the pilot was doing/thinking just the way he reacted, but, after watching it a couple times it appears to me that the pilot saved the jumpers life. He just caused about 30-40K worth of damage to his nice little C170 doing it.
