My 99 Valk came with the Cobra pipes, I really like the sound but they have significant Bluing.  Anyone ever used these or have info on them?

It would depend I suppose, Those look to just be for a straight piece of pipe. Not much of a straight piece  near the exhaust flanges. There use to be a cover set available for the Cobras. They're rare if you find a set at all and sure to carry a hefty price tag. I know i'd be interested in some for a not too outrageous price.

There are some in the classifieds right now. More than I would pay but it's all relative. Depends on how bad you want them I guess.

Yep there are some in the classifieds.    Pfffft....  :o  I'd sell a nice used set of Cobra Pipes with baffles for the price of just those shields.

While the blue might not go with some color schemes.....it would Probably cost less for ceramic coatings..... In whatever matching color you might like.

...or just paint the headers with black hi-temp stove paint.   Smokin'joe did that on his blue-n-white bike and it looks good.

Are there any photos of this that you know of?
