After 2 back surgeries and a massive heart attack last year, I took my first ride today in a year. Words cannot express the feeling. So glad to be back, for a while there I thought my riding days were done.  :cooldude:

Made your back feel better, and your heart to skip a beat I hope.

If not you were not doing it right.

Hang it in a tight curve and gas it to the edge. Then you have no problems

you can think of, at least for that brief time.

GOD SAVE THE UNITED STATES from the democrats is my prayer.

Happy to hear this. I pray for the injuries and health issues of the guys and gals of VRCC. Good to read the report of the results. Take care and ride safe.

Beast, I know exactly how you felt. I had a major coronary in 2012, comotose for ten days, hospital for five weeks. I was bound and determined to ride again. My sweet little physical therapist was ruthless....but nice. I soon started walking and finally one afternoon I got on the bicycle and went up/down our street for ten minutes. Making a U-turn was wobbly at first but after a few turns it was fine. Kept going farther about every two days, wanted to get my leg strength back and my balance. Without it there was no way I'd be able to ride the Valk. After a few weeks of that, I walked in the house and told my wife I'm taking the bike around the block. When I came back through with jeans on she suddenly realized I meant the Valkyrie. That first ride was a thrill, after the first qtr. mile is was like old times and I actually teared up a bit as I pulled in the driveway. First time back in the saddle is a marvelous feeling. Congrats on your recovery, riding the Fat Lady is good therapy.  :cooldude:
