I've got his blog bookmarked so I can keep up with the whole trip and I'm looking forward to his stop near Little Rock.

I just left Oss as he was about ready to get some rest for tomorrow's trip. We had a big steak dinner and visited a bit. I'm looking forward to following along on his blog on the rest of his trip. Here are a couple of pics I took of him to commemorate his stop in Arkansas.

Speaking as one who lives in red neck country-Oss was perfectly safe. No Yankees were harmed during the production of these comments.  ;D

Hey its Bonnie again, what I realized is that if you go on the blog Evan is doing http://ossvalkyrieride2014.wordpress.com/  and on the bottom right hand corner you subscribe to it, than when he makes new entries you'll get an email with them.

He's on the way to Valker's now, will write about his adventures tonight

Thanks for that Bonnie.  :cooldude:  Signed up for email delivery.  Always fun to live vicariously through someone else if I am working and not the one taking off on an adventure.

Wow - good thing he is an accomplished rider as those winds he went through must have been pretty wicked.
Oss...don't blame you for stopping early. Patience is a virtue in this case!!

I am in no way an accomplished rider pappy.
Don't drag pegs intentionally in turns, hate riding down mountains in the rain and am slightly visually challenged

What I have a lot of ii's stubbornness and always am looking what will plan B or C be if plan A goes Fubar in a hurry.

Sometimes the only way to win is not to play (WAR GAMES, the movie). Today I chose to fold the hand and hunker down safely. Tomorrow I will see if I stop in page or continue to St George and Zion.  I have extra travel day built in because I left NY early to avoid the snow that I predicted over a week ago.  (amateur meteorologist)

To me the boys in Tennessee and Virginia and the cream of the riders  Gordon Joe, Al, Don and Tracy (yeah you just got passed by a girl)   I just plod on and ride my ride

Ride safe everyone

Please don't miss Zion. Stop as many times as you can to take in the scenery.

Hurricane, UT has much cheaper motels than Zion.

yes, huge winds through here the last 24 hours.  many road closures due to blowing sand and visibility problems.  just dying down now so as this weather passes east you should get the same relief.

be safe, as it sounds like you are doing.   ;)

Glad you could make it there.  :cooldude:  So much to see and do, and so little time.  But, you have been there now  to know it is a great place to return to with some time to explore.  I stayed a few days at the lodge in the valley and did a lot of hiking one trip.  another time with less time riding in east side with those great views from bike.

anxious to see your blog report.
