Vehicle Shipping. Anyone had a car hauled from LA to Chicago area?

Was just wondering what I might expect to pay to have a little SUV (RAV4) shipped from the LA area to the Chicago area. All these shipping sights want all my info before I get a quote and I am just lookiing for a general idea.

One shipping site that is a place for individual shippers to pick up loads (uship.com) looks to be in the $700-$900 range to haul a vehicle from LA to Chicago.
For comparison's sake, it also looks like it'd be about $300 in fuel to drive it there.

Used U-Ship to ship my Valkyrie from Grand Junction, CO, to Pantego, TX. No problem, and would recommend them, it's an on-line bidding process.  Received over a dozen bids, from $1,800 for the high to around $300 for the low.  Put your bid out and see what you get, you do not have to accept any offer.
