Finally got my 1st ride in.

Did a post b-day ride on sun. Only did 50 miles. It was a tad chilly so just went to a nearby HD dealer. Lotta bikes outside. Chatted to a few about my 'car motor'.  The new sport trac 3 handled great. Only got her up to 85 mph but solid. Didnt hit the twisties as there is usually sand/gravel in the corners for now.

Week ago did the rear end and added the sport trac 3. Changed fuel filter and cleaned the K & N. Switched out my speaker that was bad. Just need to change oil and final drive fluid then she will be ready for the summer of 'Me' tour. So far only trips planned are the Q in da woods, 17 days of Sturgis with a loop thru Yellowstone, and the Dragon Round up. Alot of local stuff to. David Allen Coe is gonna be at a bike blessing/event at a local bar not to far from me at the end of the month. Gettin excited about that.

Glad you got out Brian. Keep us updated on that tire and let us know how it does. Be careful out there until the rain washes all that loose stuff from the roads.

We did almost the same thing, Brian, save for the tire deal. Out for about an hour putzin around town. It was good to finally get out. This is the first winter since buying the Valk in 2003 that I didn't ride it at least once every month through the winter. It just never quit snowing or got even close to warm enough when it wasn't snowing and the roads were clear to get her out.    Winter sux! (at least in this neck of the woods)

Trust me-NOT just in yer neck o the woods!  For maybe the 2nd time since I lived here(16 years)I might could have made money if I owned a snow removal type pickup.  But I don't so I didn't and lord knows I won't!!  Glad you got a ride in. ALMOST missed riding in Dec. 13-ALMOST.  RIDE SAFE.

Glad you are gaining confidence in the Sport Trac 3. Still lovin mine, even though it lacks camber thrust.
