Definitely one time I wasn't 'fooled' on this day. Loved it since. Wish I had put more than a measley 140,000 miles on her. :cooldude:

These bikes are getting pretty long in the tooth, so are we. Mine followed me home 15.5 years ago. I sure hope it lasts much longer than that.

Oss, there's been enough rain on it that I doubt there's any original dirt left, but it would probably take carbon dating to be sure.

This Saturday my Interstate was brought home 11 years ago.

I bought my I/S the weekend after we got home from Daytona Bike Week 2003. I looked at 4 I/S's on that day and I went back and bought the first one I looked at that morning. The day I got it home was the day the original warranty ran out,.....but the original purchaser bought the five year Honda extended warranty.
I was skeptical about the extended warranty, so I called Honda and they said it was still in effect. I was still skeptical and went to my local dealer and they showed that indeed I had a warranty, as it follows the bike regardless of the owner. YAHOO!!!!

I had one saddlebag, one seat, all four speakers, replaced and the dashboard wiring repaired (at Bike Week 2008).

I really love my Valkyries,......most fun I've ever had on two wheels.

Wow!!  Your post made me realize it's been over 15 years since I brought my girl home.  March 1999.
Man, that's gone fast.
