ShowChrome Brake Caliper Cover-what am I missing?

Does anybody have any idea why I can't find a new RIGHT SIDE ShowChrome caliper cover.

I bought a left side one off of Ebay and they seem to be plentiful. Yet I'm not having any luck searching and finding a new right side cover. This makes no sense to me since the front uses dual brakes. I'm thinking they're not made anymore, but why a shortage of the right side?

Here's a pic of the style I'm looking for....but for the right side. Shown image is the left side.
I can't even find a part # for the right side cover.

Any help, links, etc would be appreciated.

For what ever reason, that side is impossible to find.  Good luck with your search.

I think you're right, MP. I found a different style that fits a 1300 VTX for the right side. It would probably work for the Valkyrie but I might have to come up with longer standoff bushings.  Don't really want a mismatched set though....decisions, decisions.

If you are able to find one the price would most likely be so high you could pay a metal worker to just make you a set.

This is not a new thing, I noticed a few year ago that you could find plenty of one side but not the other.   Can't imagine the manufacturer making a a mismatched run on the sets but there have been stranger things....

Are these what you're looking for?

There's a little of pitting on these.   I also ground the gap that the hose goes through to prevent any rubbing.

Make me an offer I can't refuse.

They only make the one side I believe for a single disc front brake bike.  1 side is out of production as everything else for our bikes seems to be going. I gave up and got a set with the smooth finish, no slots. :(
