My Memphis Shades Batwing fell and cracked.  :-[  I have the expensive MS Batwing mounting hardware.
Would MS hardware work on this windshield? ???

ACTUALLY, if I could fit it this would be my first choice for my Black Standard... well because she's FAST BLACK! :D

I have installed this one on all my early Wings and I like it a lot. :-X
However, my Standard has a 3" headlight extension, which would set out the "windshield" further ahead of the instruments   :(

Any thoughts?

BF;
I solo-ride my Standard with a full face modular helmet, w/o any shield. I love pushing the wind with my chest.
No music to deprive me of hearing her every sound. :-X  Just her and me. So I want something easily removable.
The two "beauty shields" that I still have for her are strictly for looks. ;)

Those tiny shields do make the Naked FAT I/S Tank, look Mammoth! :o :cooldude:

When I needed the comforts ridin' to the east coast I rode the '99 I/S. She's still there. 8)
Here in The City of Angels for comforts I'd ride the '97 Wing.

 :cooldude: I'd definitely recommend the Woody's, however I came across thesehttp://www.tsukayu.com/QuickDetachableFairingwithGPS.html as well, but don't have any personal experience with them. They are fiberglass too, like the Woody's. They do offer some pretty cool features though. They also utilize quick disconnect options and can be ordered without audio, like the Woody's.

Paxton......riding behind a Woody's with a 4" thumbnail shield IS like riding in full wind.

No it's not. Just test rode my bike today after the recent work I had done. Have not put the Woody's back on yet and I can tell you without a doubt, no it's not. :cooldude:

Is with mine.  With the 4" shield, the wind hits me mid chest.

Take that fairing off, It must have been awhile, like me, since you've rode without any fairing. :coolsmiley: I guarantee the wind deflection just from the fiberglass portion of your Woody's is doing a whole lot more than you seem to be given it credit for. :cooldude:
