Jimmy..aka Mr. Hay, and Kathy from down the street came by Sunday, and in a couple hours we had the place moved around and powerwashed...doesn't even look like there was a party here..
We have a LOT of good friends that pitchin to help us make the whole thing come together... couldn't do it without them!!!!

Goo-Goo Magoo

Great time had by all. Want to thank everyone for making Lisa feel welcome. Sorry she lost her helmet on the Saturday ride, just glad no one was hurt throught this mishap. Glad to see alot of old and new friends from around the country. And yes Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Baker for letting us (VRCC) on your property for this gathering. Money raised for a great service to your young people. That along makes the heart feel better every day. THANKS Magoo

And Magoo. I had never been behind a bike when a helmet flew out and bounced in front of me

Just happy nobody wrecked trying to avoid it and all returned safely to the gathering

Thanks again Mark and Charlene and also to Wiz for scouting and then leading the ride

I really needed to ride that extra 160 miles

It was great seeing the Kinter Clan again.

Madison, Chase, McKenna, and I will be there. I would love to bring the other four with us, but we have my mother inlaw living with us now and my wife and daughter Jayden are her primary care givers. Hopefully one day I can get the whole crew to attend. Always a pleasure to hang with you Terry.  :cooldude:

Ditto to all that's been said! HG & FB, thanks for all you do... There is a nice spot in my memory bank and in my heart for special folks like y'all...

I sat alone for a little while Saturday afternoon and looked at the folks gathered... Organ transplant recipients, cancer survivors, countless other surgeries, addiction conquerors, parents who've overcome difficulties and heartbreak... the whole drama of contemporary life displayed in plain view.  And, everywhere I looked, I saw good folks who'd stayed the course and overcame... triumphed over adversity.

Folks who were genuinely glad to see each other and to share a bit of time together... Kindred spirits who 'get it'... Inspirational to say the least! But there is more...

Good 'giving' efforts for the benefit of others, good food, good companionship and fellowship, good riding while there and to and from the event... but, those things are present at many gatherings... What sets this apart for me is the magic that seems to be present... and the spiritual recharge that always occurs in me...

Thanks, my friends, for being the 'shining example of goodness in people', and for being the catalyst; for providing the venue, the wherewithal, and the excuse to get together and share those abundant intangibles that make us feel so good about ourselves... and especially being part of something this special... You cast a much longer shadow that you may realize!

Don't just dream it... LIVE IT!

See ya down the road...

DDT.. my Friend... this pretty much blows me away....
We have always enjoyed our Friends coming and hanging out and doing good for others...but I have never really looked at it the way you have.
Folks meeting adversity and overcoming... meeting life head on .. and Winning...
Life is good...!!! and we all are fortunate to be in a place in our lives to give...It doesn't have to be a big gift, but a generous heart .
If we can have some good fellowship, and some pretty fair BBQ... and have a good time visiting and hanging out...  and do good for others at the same time.....  seems like a plus to me!!!!!

Char and I have Always cherished the friendship we have had with the Valkyrie Riders... and have found that no matter where we go.. there is always someone willing to lend a hand if there is an issue in our travels.
Really nice to know that you are NEVER alone... no matter where you go!
It is SPECIAL to us, to have Friends like You!
