Yes folks it is true  

Cleaned, rinsed soaped, rinsed soaped rinsed  (it was after all dirtier than Daniel's
and he will admit it)
and then the good carnuba wax but just one coat so far

Will give a second coat tomorrow afternoon when driveway is in the shade

Also drove a drywall plastic plug into the hose of the missing air horn and the horn now sound
appropriately loud

Tested it on the wife for desired effect of course.  "Shut that f in thing off already " meant I did a good job

Now just waiting for the kickstand assmbly and switch from Mike and I can stop using the bungee cord to hold up the kickstand.   It is a great antitheft device however so MAY go to work a few days with it

And waxed it too?  I looked at a 98 standard the other day.  Big step, I might buy it. Wish I could find another 97 like I had, I should have jumped on the one you hipped me to.
