I have pulled the trigger and ordered a woody's fairing from glenn, now I need a little help in choosing the speakers. I know that I will want to upgrade in the future and don't want to have to open up the speaker holes in the future. What I need to know is what kind of speakers should I get, the out side diameter can be no larger that 6 inches. Glenn said it is ok for me to send him the speakers I want to use and he will install them for me. I was looking at the

Found these from jvc CS-V528

I installed Kicker 5.25" speakers in mine. Powered by a Kenwood amp. I'm verypleased with the results. I used the grills from ones that Glenn provided because the grills that came with Kickers were too big. This meant cutting the grills from the original speakers with a dremel. Easy peasy. I mounted the speakers from the inside with the grills on the outside. No modification of the speaker holes needed. BF used some Sony speakers with a Rockford amp he liked. He did have to enlarge the speaker holes some with a drum sander on a drill.
