I have only one intake leaking even AFTER the installation of the new O-rings. What else can I do to stop it from leaking and make it right?

BTW, I got new valve stems in like y'all suggested as well as a new front tire and a new General Altimax for the rear. They are installed yet, but I will install them in the next month or so as I still have some decent treat left on the current tires.
Thank You,

I'd have to ask if you used something to make sure that the 0-ring stayed in place while the intake was installed? And what is the symptom that you're seeing? What 0-rings did you use? Redeye's or from a hardware store? Maybe they're too small in diameter? Lots of questions, I know, but new o-rings usually fix the intake leaks without issues.

That is unusual that a new O-ring doesnt fix it.  There are a few things I can think of.  Im just going through what I do whenever I change them things.

-I always use Viton (123) O-rings
-Do one intake at a time so everything stays in place and the same intake goes back where it was
-Clean both surfaces (block and intake) well but gently
-Use a dab of RTV to hold the O-ring in place so it doesnt get out of its groove
-Make sure the intake is sitting FLAT
-tighten the bolts in at least two stages so it goes down flat too

Hope that helps

On my first ride after doing it recently, I noticed a bit of seepage on one... I wiped it off
with my finger, and none has come back since...

just for giggles  ;D
I would double check the clamps on the airbox tube and intake runner, worked for me :uglystupid2:   :crazy2:

The old o-rings were replaced with the ones I ordered from redeye as y'all suggested. All others that were replaced are doing nicely and no leak. This one is leaking pretty bad. I will pull it off again and check it. I did as ChrisJCMA stated when replacing my o-rings.

What is it leaking ?  Fuel or vacuum ?  Wouldn't happen to be #6 ?
