Psychotic Bovine

2013 Triumph Scrambler 900.
Basically got it for an around town and rough back roads kind of bike.  And I kinda like the looks.

I was in a Triumph dealer on Saturday.  Didn't buy anything though.  The bikes are nice.

Best of luck with her!   :cooldude:

Well, they do ride on the other side of the road over yonder.
Nice bike though, both of them. :cooldude:

Since the dealer was 100 miles away, I did have ample time to get used to it.  It rides good, handles decent, can't tell about the power since it's still in the "break in" phase.  My butt and the seat are not on speaking terms, though.   I am tempted to check under the seat cover, since I suspect there is a 2x6 board in there.....
But. that's ok, since this is my around town bike.  The valk will still get ridden on trips and wherever.
The exhaust is a bit too muted, but no intention of changing it.
Cannot wait until the break in is over....

Cool bike Chris. If you're off this week I'll try to swing by & check it out. I'll probably be close anyway if I go to the BMV by you. :cooldude:

That is a nice bike,I love the old style scrambler types. I believe Triumph is the only outfit making that style today. I would like to see Honda produce a middleweight bike in that dual sport style like the old CLs for us folks that like to ride through the woods down a dirt road once in awhile :cooldude:

Nice :cooldude:, yeah that seat doesn't look like you'd want to do 500 miles on it.

I should be around all week.  Except for Friday, heading to the NRA convention.

Yeah, Doug, you might wave from the BMV if i'm sitting on the back patio. ;D

I drove Chris to the dealer and it was hell to see all the new bikes and not buy one.

Congrats on the new bike Chris. They make a few ones I wouldn't mind putting in the stable. Good luck and safe riding.

thanks much!
I wanted something completely different than a Valk.  It's pretty different, that's for sure.
