Ride... Cherohala Skyway / Blue Ridge Parkway... Saturday

Hookin' up with ( Terry ) T-Bird in the morning in Sweetwater, Tennessee at 9:30 ( McDonald's right by I-75 exit 60 ) . We will take Cherohala Skyline and make our way over to Cherokee, North Carolina and ride The Blue Ridge Parkway into Asheville , North Carolina. Going to spend the night in Asheville. This is somewhat of a scouting ride to find a suitable motel for the upcoming ride to InZane. I've got folks from several states coming into Knoxville, Tennessee on Friday June 6 . Saturday June 7 we'll make a meandering ride through the mountains and end up " close " to ground zero .... Folks that plan to ride with us keep a eye on the board in the next week or so and I'll have motel information for Friday June 6 in Knoxville , Tennessee and Saturday June 7 in Asheville. .... Bring It....LET'S RIDE

We are meeting Bill ( Bocephus ) in Cherokee around 12:30 / 1:00 at the Exxon .... First redlight in Cherokee take a left. The Exxon has a Hardees nailed on the side of it. Pretty sure its across the road from The Best Western Motel at least that's what I think that motel is

I know folks from Mississippi , Texas , Indiana , Maryland , Michigan , Ohio and The Great State Of Tennessee will be in the hood . Check with Gary or Reb as I think Illinois is as well.

We'll be riding the BRP from where it starts, right on in to Asheville in a little more than a month.  I am so looking forward to this ride!  Reminds me, I gotta get in touch with AndyM.

Santa I've been to several motels this morning working on a deal for the Friday June 6 group . As of now the best bet is off Merchants Drive in Knoxville ( exit 108 off I-75 ) . Plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance... Outback Steakhouse , Red Lobster , Bob Evans ,Ihop a Chinese hog trough along with a MickyD's. Less than 1/8 mile is even more one being Hooters.

I can't hear my phone ring on the bike and I don't know where we'll stay yet. The whole point of the trip is to find a decent affortable place to stay with restaurants in walking distance so if folks want a few cold ones they don't have to get on the bike afterwords.... Mother Nature is going to be good to us this weekend. I have just about dried out from GOTF, so I'm ready for some nice weather and some good TN/NC twisties. Looking forward to this weekend.

Yeah, I called him... and then I bolted on my rear fender section, and saddlebags
and put RideOn in my new tire... I didn't put on the refurbished  final drive,
no time for a do over.

Maybe I've even wash off some of the pollen from my bike tomorrow, so
we can tell the difference between it and your yellow bike  ...

Ouch... I don't think you ever sleep more than 2 hours a night. I woke up at 3:30 too... and
went right back to sleep, and just woke up at 7:00...

I can't make the ride with you guys today, but Mike and I also talked about doing a scouting ride one weekend before Inzane....hey Randy, I think im going to come down there for that tractor pull also...I've never been to that one, just the one in Lavonia. ...
