T-Bird and I will have folks from ( 15 ) states hookin' up with us Friday , June 6 in Knoxville, Tennessee . The ride out of Knoxville  Saturday will take us across some of the best roads for motorcycling the south has to offer. This will be a very scenic ride through the mountains of East Tennessee and Western North Carolina. We'll meet up with riders from ( 3 ) other states in Asheville, North Carolina for some tire kickin' on Saturday evening. If you plan to join us time is ticking away the motel in Knoxville should have plenty of rooms still available however the Asheville motel is likely to sell out.

If you do make reservations to join us please post back to this thread that you did so... Thanks

Be sure to say you are with the " Smokinjoe / T-Bird Ride " they are holding rooms for us.

Plenty of restaurants within " very " easy walking distance to both these motels.

Ray the Clarion Motel is right behind the old Quaker State And Lube up on the hill. We got folks from all over the country coming in. Come on over around 6 or so Friday evening.

razor sounds great.. bring your wife  i miss ya both  :cooldude:

unfortunately the wife's shop in maryville is taking up most of her time. she has to work friday and doesn't close till after 6pm. she is having a sale this weekend and will likely be later than that to close.  My time is eaten up with my business and working on the house addition.  So she won't make it friday and  why we won't make it to inzane.  We really miss all our riding buddies and being able to take some time to ride.  We keep asking ourselves why we did all of this at this stage in our lives, but we are committed for the time being.   :uglystupid2: What doesn't kill us makes us stronger! 8)

Proved vs. proven
Proven is usually an adjective (e.g., a proven formula), and proved is usually the inflected form of the verb prove (e.g., I proved it; I have proved it). This is not a rule, though, and exceptions abound, especially in American English, where proven is often used as a participial inflection of the verb. For example, where a British writer is likely to write I have proved you wrong, an American writer might write I have proven you wrong.

Both forms are many centuries old. Proven appears in the 15th-century works of Chaucer, for instance. But proved has always been the prevalent inflection ever since prove emerged from its pre-Middle English roots, and only over the last century or so has proven gained significant ground. This doesn't mean proven is wrong, though. It is a very well-established form, and only a few people from outside North America consider it questionable.
