I like the place that ujsed to be the Big Boy place.

On the north side of Cherokee as you ride up towards the BRP. Opposite a motel and BP gas station.

Quick Google map and it's the Newfound Lodge and Restaurant.

The only reason I'd stop in Cherokee. The rest of the town is is for dumb tourists.

I'm glad to see folks jumping in on this early. This ride will probably be one of the best during the whole week of Inzane. It will be a whole day of "WildBunch" twisties, ending that Saturday evening in Ashville. On Sunday we will all ride into "Ground Zero" together. There will be riders of all experience on this ride,and it won't be a race, but a good ride through some of the best motorcycling roads in America.

Motel rooms at the Blue Ridge Motel may be sold out, but there are several motels nearby, a Holiday Inn is almost in the the same parking lot. but don't wait till the day of the ride to try and get a room somewhere nearby.....this is a high tourist area and you will be at their mercy...can you say "Ca-ching!!!

Thanks for everyone posting back that made reservations    I don't think we'll have any problems with rooms at the Knoxville motel however Asheville is another story this place gets packed on weekends and ALL the motels are damn proud of their rooms from the 5 star on down. If you plan to join us on this awesome ride through the Tennessee / North Carolina mountains you should get reservations made asap

After trying to secure a venue for InZane 14, I can second that the area hotels/motels are mighty proud of their rooms.  If Joe's Saturday motel fills, the GZ hotel (Clarion Inn) will allow you to extend your reservation to include Saturday at the VRCC negotiated rate.  Of course, they will fill quickly as well.  A number of us will be at GZ Friday and Saturday.
