I use one of those to drink my bourbon.  As far as the rear end is concerned, I fill until it runs out.
Thanks,

spillon out the fill hole?

When I  change out the differential out of my dodge P/U rear end   I park it on a down hill slope to get more gear oil in and make sure the floating axle end bearings  get the goods.

Cant overfill a Valkyrie rear end?

Cant overfill a Valkyrie rear end?Not if you have the bike upright. Fill till it starts to dribble out. Just don't do it while on the side stand. Some fill it with it off the bike, you would need to measure accurately in that case

Don't take much ,that's why I do it at oil change time. one less thing to keep track of and qt. last quiet a few oil changes. I fill it on the side stand to bottom of threads, no problemos. it might have a hole extra 3/4 oz that way ;D ;D

Book says to fill until comes out the hole, with the bike straight up and down.  I have gone to filling them until comes out, on the side stand. I figured if it blew out from overfill, I would not do it that way again.  It has never leaked.

Of course check, change all  fluids at bike upright vertical.
