Cardo Scala Q1

Has anyone used the Scala Q1 with earbubs in place of the helmet speakers..I see that they have a jack for that option.How do you like the Q1?? How bout the microphone  ?

I don't have the Q1's but do have Q9's.  When they work, it is great.  Bike to bike at almost 1 mile.  Music and phone calls clear as a bell.  But then they quit behaving.  Voice activation starts getting weird.  Then garbled comm's.  Called the tech line and had to leave a number.  Guy was kind of rude.  In the background I could hear another tech saying the same company line, "this never happens, reset will fix them ...".  We reset the units and they worked for a little while (3 - 4 hours) then winked out.  The warranty requires you provide the receipt since Amazon and EBAY store units are not covered even if they were new.  Something about price fixing.  Local dealer is going to help me dump them back to Scala.  Then I will go for another bluetooth setup, just not Scala.   

Love them when they work, but every ride with them has been a disappointment.  These replaced my Q2's.
