Suggestions on how to mount Aux lights on a Tourere windshield

TIA, Any suggestions on type and where to find descent lights? On my old Valk I had nice simple chromed, single hole flat bars. worked perfect and of course I can't find them

How about adding a pair to the top of the case guards? That way you have that triangle of lights that get better attention from other drivers.

I am putting  a set of LED lights down there. I like the look of the two spots on each side of the head lamp. I might just make my own brackets from  aluminum stock and p/u some hollow bolts.

I have PIAA 1100Xs on my IS plexi forkwings, just one small hole drilled thru the plexi for a mount.

Could be done on a shield, but you sure don't want any light/glare bleeding out and backlighting the shield.  And if you are going to mount something to the shield, it needs to be light weight with rubber washers on both sides.  And I would think it would be better drilling a hole thru (and mounting a small light to) the shield hardware (and the shield) than just the shield alone.

BF that's Awesome! Really Sharp! I was going to mount the lights on my windshield replacing one of the mounting bolts on each side of the headlight with a hollow bolt. I mocked up a cardboard piece. Having seen how good yours look I will see if I can fit a light bar with the windshield. Very nice!

fitted mine to the down bars of the large touring screen, work perfect. drilled one extra hole in the down bar and made an aluminium bracket and bobs your uncle job done.!

Custom World (www.cw-intl.com) used to sell a light bracket that mounted to the Tourer windshield. Don't know if they still make/sell them.

Back when I first bought my Valk, it was a red & white standard with the OEM hondaline windshield.  Not long after I bought the bike, I added that lightbar.  That light bar worked great with the OEM shield.....could take the shield off and put if back on with zero clearance issues.  A stock OEM windshield works just fine with this lightbar.  

I'll post some pics of the bike with the shield and lightbar later today. 

Later on, and several years ago, I remodeled my Valk and added the Woodys fairing and the lights on the crash bars.  At that same time, I also replaced the spots that originally came on the lightbar with some spots from Cobra.  I don't think the Cobra spots are still available.....however....on the Big Bike Parts site, they've got spots that look like the Cobras now.

Here ya go Bonzo.  As you can see, the OEM shield works well with the Big Bike Parts light bar.  As I said earlier, I used to take the shield off and on all the time with no problems with the light bar interfering at all.  Plenty of room.
