Ride to Firehouse

   We meet at the Freedom Rock which is being sandblasted so it can be painted. There was us, Jim and Dort Tupper, and RJ and his son and family. We stopped on the way to Red Oak at Villisca and saw the house where the ax murders were committed in 1912. They start tours at 1 PM so didn't get to go on a tour. Then we went to Red Oak and ate at the firehouse. Then we headed home Got a few sprinkles on us. RJ and his family headed across 34 to go home

Great ride Terri, loved the company and the camaraderie .   

We will have to do it again.

We got some fair rain when we almost got to Des Moines, just enough to get everything DIRTY.

I was surprised, the kids really enoyed the ride and the stop in Villisca.
