I sure as hell hope you don't put her in the saddlebag, close the lid and take off with her in there.

If she is going to ride a saddelbag, at least cut her a hole so as to get air.

My old, whoops, forgot the make of it.    Any way I took the lid off, cut a piece of plexiglass to fit the lid area, then cut a hole in the top with a leather frill in the center, one she could push her head through to get a breeze in her whiskers or to pull her head in and take a nap.     She rode that old bike for about 8 ro 9 years.   Even the kids hauled her around the place in the saddlebag.   She'd hear the engine start, you best get the hell out of her way as she wanted to go also, and she usually got to go.

Lucy is one of those designer dogs.  A Miniature Golden Doodle, cross between a Golden Retriever and a Miniature Poodle.  If you are wondering, AI solves the height issue.  She will be 25 to 35 pounds when all grown up. 

I never really considered riding with her.  Susan, the sane half of our marriage, would not allow that anyway.  But I could not resist posing Lucy in the saddlebag.  I've seen a lot of small dogs on bikes but it's not for me.  Lucy will grow to be too large. 

I'm still thinking about Inzane XIV, but have not signed up as yet.

there once was a guy that had an old Yamaha (virago?) that had a trunk.  he cut a 4" hole in the top of the trunk for his little dog.  I passed him once on the road, that little dog popped it's head out the hole!!  yeah, it was a little cute, (for me that's not normal, I'm NOT a dog lover)

Hey alph, where was that at?    I had a Virago that my puppy rode with me.  Might have been me, never know as I've been all over these here lower 48 states and Alaska twice, Hawaii once.    Rented a Harly for Hawaii.

PS:   the puppy was a mini Schnauzer (sp), couldn't spell the damn name and still can't.    Her name was Sally and smarter than a whip.    Show her something once and she had it.

Had a bell on a rope on the back door.    If she had to go out, she would dangle the bell, and someone would open the door for her.      Fenced yard so she didn't need full time attention out there.     When she was done and wanted in, I had a door bell button just about her nose hig from the floor.    she'd walk up, push it and if the bell went off she sat down and waited, if it didn't go off, she'd push it again.   

She used to love to play catch or chase the ball.   if ya tossed it close enough she would jump up and snare it in mid air.    Loved that dog.    Had to put her down about age 8 due to cancer all through her body.

RIP Sally, we all still love ya.    Dang nats anyhow.

He actually had little goggles for that dog too!!  It was cute though.

I saw him at the laundry mat one time, he stacked on about 5 loads of laundry on the back of that cycle!  Another time I saw him riding in two inches of sloppy wet snow!!  I'm thinking that cycle was his ONLY form of transportation.

 Nice looking bike, adorable pup. They are very smart dogs, highly trainable and great companions. Little to no shedding. My wife's friend has one she raised from a puppy as a service dog for some kind of health issue. That little dog is one of the cutest and most fun dogs I've the pleasure of knowing. When the work vest comes off of course. Good luck with her
