Mike asked about the alternator cover and I thought I would make it a little better today. The tap was broken so i jb weld a washer where it was and cut down the spacer and repainted and left the honda chrome(a little chrome gone there on the letters but still not bad).

Very nice!  Looks as good if not better than original.

Looks good. Did you remove all the chrome or just sand it smooth? Also does anyone know if spray cans of the honda colors are available?

Not all the chrome was removed the spot that has honda on it was left with chrome. I could never find honda colors in a spray can so I used gloss black.

Yes, honda colors are absolutely available in "rattle cans". Colorite on Amazon will do any color you want. Just find your paint code (like R191 American red and NH326M Glacier white) for the '97 red/white valk. They sell everything you need to paint. It's about $35/can but it covers a lot and is pretty cheap when you consider the alternatives.
