nice.. I want a pair..

Jack, Grumpy' site has 2 sets (actually 3 if you count the drilled ones) which ones are yours? I am thinkin you have the 'Trim rings' as opposed to the 'Polished' ones?

The tips I got are not on his website.
I originally bought a pair of his drilled tips but I found that I wanted a bigger opening, I was looking for more of a trim ring that did not reduce the exhaust opening.
I talked to him and told him what I was looking for and he made them for me, I could not be happier with the results.
I know that he has been slowly getting back in the swing of things, with the rehab of his hands after the accident.
If you are interested, contact him, I am sure he would be able to make some like the ones I have or he might have some of the other ones in stock.

If you have not dealt with him in the past, I and many others here can say that he is a class act and will treat you right.  cooldude

Hey Jack they look awesome. When I saw them in Leesburg on your bike, the larger diameter opening actually makes your pipes appear larger. I like them better than mine Sad You have a nice one of a kind look, now everyone will want them Grin

I thought about powder coating them black also but I just got them so I'll run them like that for now.
I have a weakness, I can't leave my ride sitting too long so I am always looking to add or change something  Grin

Post a pic when and If you do go the powder coat way  cooldude

You like them better than what you have now ahhh???
You know you can fix that, get Bill to get you a pair of new and improved tips  Grin

I am sure my tips are not the first ones and they will not be the last of its kind, so if Mr Grumpy can make some more AND my fellow Valk riders can make their rides look good then it is a win/win situation  cooldude cooldude

The thing about Bill is if you can describe it he can make it.

Those tips are great.  Jack, ou should get a second pair and do them in Black.  Switch them out every season and keep the look shifting.

Thanks Gil

You are the one that told me to go to Bill and he could do just about anything I would describe to him.
Now you come up with another great idea on the switching looks, you are costing me more $$$$  Grin

Thanks a lot  2funny

I am awaiting the arrival of my stacks ordered my tips from grumpy after his wreck. I probably got the first set after he started maching again. All I can say is that a man with only half his fingers working that can turn out what I got is amazing cooldude

I also like the fact that due to the big bore, I can just slip the Trombones in and out on the Mark T's exhaust.
I could not do that with the smaller bore exhaust tips.

I was looking at threads concerning Grumpys tips and liked the style in this one.  Emailed Grumpy who responded back in a very quick manner with a price sheet.   Sent him a Paypal payment and received them 3 days later. They are great looking tips, look much nicer than what you are expecting for the price.   Highly recommended!
