The one on the left is a replacement I just put on my bike. The one on the right looked like it when rainman sent it to me just a little over a year ago. I always buy pegs from Big Mike at Inzane, but not anymore.....I will have to start looking on fleabay

Pete ( ptgb )  from Ohio has hooked me up twice with some nice pegs... I hope to buy that man a cold one at InZane.

I made a few sets of these peg pucks out of 41/40 steel & then I hardened them....a lot cheaper than having to continue to buy OEM pegs....





& they will still leave a few sparks....

Also the cold side living along Lake Michigan. I would have to drive about an hour to find some nice roads but my pegs have very little wear on the bottom same with the side of the tires.

Along Lake Mich. it's nice riding but there are no tight turns. When I ride down in Tenn. area I don't ride as fast in the turns, true but I'm not used to going that fast. Plus I need to make it home. I do have some scrapes on the bottom of my food pegs but not Joe's. I would think most Valkyrie rides don't wear there pegs down like Joe and his riding buddy's.

I have the small Isos with stirrups Hwy pegs on one bike, and my stirrups are both ground down (I have the little chrome stirrup bottoms.... well some of the chrome bottoms  LOL). 

I stopped using Hwy pegs in the twisties some time ago, after having my boot heel grabbed off one peg by the pavement, and a badly twisted knee.   (never happens with the 4050s on my other bike)
