good luck with your search. It's one of the penalties of riding a bike that's been out of production since 2003 and is unique.

AND IF you do find someone that has them or will produce them be prepared to part with some significant amounts of money. Large sums of cash most generally will find just about anything. Good luck on yer quest. RIDE SAFE.

WHEELS!!! Rims are a part of a WHEEL! Rims are not WHEELS!!!!!!!
Good grief this crap drives me nuts.

My wheels rims are made by Bikers Image. The front is 21" and the rear is stock size.

I'd like more info please. I checked their web site and several makes/brand of manufacturers seem to be listed. Do you know the manufacturer? Wondering if they're still available and how much.

You can be assured custom Valkyrie wheels are not readily available, but would be manufactured to your order.

And the price would be at least a grand (and probably a lot more) for each wheel. That you can be sure of.

If you were to do such, up front guarantee's regarding fit and usability is a must.

Some Honda dealers were in the business of chrome plating stock wheels for three hundred a wheel.

Polishing done at home or by professional wheel polishers is very nice.

If you have not ever seen a set of stock Valkyrie wheels that were professionally polished

you are selling yourself short. Polishing can be expensive also, upward of 1 hundred each wheel.

There are quite a few professional wheel polishers available.

Look up biker image custom wheels. His number is on the website, call him for sizes available, and price. He doesn't have a valkyrie listed but he will build them for you. 1100-1200 a wheel/rim.

Troystg yes its the stock fender with the 21 inch wheel I did not have to change anything . also have the rear wheel but never put it on , the stock chrome wheel is easier to keep clean and you can't see it once   I put the 11.5 shocks on my phat lady

Very nice...

So you lowered the rear with 11.5" springs..  Did you lower the front also?   I lowered the front and rear of my 03 Magna but I hadn't heard of any way to do it to the valk..
Troy

bigtsteelhorserider

no I did not lower the front yet but I'am plaining on installing a 6 degree raked triple tree on her because the 21 inch wheel raised the front end about 3 inches and the raked tree will lower it back down.I put the avon cobra 120x70x21 tire on her and have had no problem , the rear wheel is in my storage shed will dig it out and post some pictures.

bigtsteelhorserider, did you remove the engine hangers and relocate the coils and blowby separator?? Where did you put that stuff, I like the look of that wide open space in there.

Valkjerk, my bike is 17 years old with about 55k miles it looks almost new, I have never entered her in a bike show because this is the bike I love to ride. so i put it together to look  this way just for me.

pancho, I did'nt remove anything those are chrome covers that cover the entire space on both sides. I think I got them from Carolina bike custom parts.

When I first looked at it, I thought I was seeing driveway through that area!!  Thought you had redone that area and relocated some stuff and opened it up,, I see it now.

Big steel, seen your bike in person this past Daytona bike week. The pictures don't show how nice your bike is ! You got a nice ride there.

Did the change throw your speedometer out much or was it a case of bigger rim/lower profile tire keeping the speedo accurate ?

Thanks
