I for one am very pleased to see a Tech board for the new Valk.

I know that there are some here that have no interest in owning one but we all have an interest in it.

I doubt that I'l ever purchase one new but I won't rule out the possibility of a used one finding its way into my stable someday.

It will be nice to have access to this inside information if and when I do decide to get one.

Now, now... tech doesn't necessarily means problems.  Installing accessories and aftermarket parts, as well as any McGyverisms, are tech topics.  That said, for awhile we won't be real strict about tech talk only for the 1800 Tech Board.  We know people will have lots of talk and questions that may not be necessarily tech related.

You can't do much about the length of your life, so focus on the width.

With all the miles Wing owners ride, by now Honda should have eliminated just about any possible weakness in the 1800 drivetrain.  It should be as trouble free as anything in the motorcycle world.

I look forward to reading the new board.  As much as I like the new K1600, BMW reliability worries me and I think my next bike will be an F6B or new Valk.

I'm thinking they won't get the activity here on that board that they will on their own web site.....  Just thinking out loud.

I am in agreement with this the new board should be filled with addons or modifications I would be very surprised to read of any major problems. I was also when it came out looking at the K1600 but without the ability to reset codes and trouble shoot systems without a 16k scanner dedicated to this one bike its just not worth it.
